The HSE is recruiting mental-health staff nurses for an initial vacancy at Newcastle Hospital in Greystones and a wider regional panel.
Students due to qualify by 31 December 2026 may apply, but the HSE says an offer cannot be made until NMBI registration is evidenced.
Role
The Staff Nurse (Mental Health) will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting. The staff nurse will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.
